The KB is situated near the train station 'Den Haag CS' on the platform 12 side of the station. If you are a school pupil you are entitled to free membership of the KB, which is valid until you have passed your final exams. To obtain a card you will need to show proof of identity and an official document containing your address. At the KB you will find virtually every book and journal published in the Netherlands. You are permitted to study these publications in the reading room and make copies. Apart from studying and copying books, at the KB you can also use the Internet, e-mail or write a paper in MS Word for free. Your KB membership card enables you to have a book put aside for you at the information desk via the Internet, from home or school.
